Adult and Child Psychological Evaluations
A psychological evaluation is a structured comprehensive examination designed to provide diagnostic and treatment clarity using a battery of assessments. These assessments are used to measure one’s current cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral functioning. Depending on what is being evaluated, tests will include measures of cognitive ability, executive functioning, academic comprehension, social-emotional functioning, visual-spatial skills, memory, attention, and processing speed. All evaluations will include a clinical interview (children, parents, teachers if applicable), in-person testing, a comprehensive report of results and recommendations, and a feedback session to review the results. All evaluations will be completed in 30-60 days depending on the scope of testing. All evaluations comprise of nationally standardized and evidence-based assessments appropriate for one’s age and referral question.
Full Comprehensive/Learning Disability Testing

Insurance and billing
We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a detailed receipt, known as a superbill, that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. The amount reimbursed will depend on your specific plan and its out-of-network mental health benefits.
Insurance reimbursement is generally subject to medical necessity criteria, which may include a qualifying diagnosis and documentation of how symptoms affect daily functioning. Because coverage requirements vary by plan, some assessments may not qualify for reimbursement, even if your insurance provider initially indicates that benefits are available. Please keep in mind that verification of benefits does not guarantee payment.
We encourage you to contact your insurance provider before scheduling to clarify your out-of-network benefits and any applicable coverage requirements. Following the assessment, we will be happy to provide a detailed superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement.
